I started off looking for a way to contribute to society in a more meaningful way.  This internal drive guided me towards the care industry, a field where I could harness my passion for helping others.

I have always strongly felt that we have a profound responsibility towards those in our society who are most vulnerable. In their times of need, it is our duty to step in, providing care that not only meets their practical needs, but also makes a real, positive impact in their lives.

The cornerstone of my beliefs is that everyone should have the right to live independently at home for as long as they can. Every person deserves to have their needs and preferences respected, and their care tailored to support their individual circumstances. As the Managing Director at PerCurra Leeds, I ensure this principle is at the heart of everything we do.

At PerCurra Leeds, we’re not just about providing care, we’re about providing high-quality care. We understand that what we do significantly affects not just our customers, but also their families and loved ones. When our customers feel safe, cared for, and supported, it brings immeasurable comfort to their families. This understanding motivates us to maintain our high standards and continue to deliver person-centred, responsive, and compassionate care every day.

Care Co-ordinator  Sophie Tierney

Sophie is our Care Co-ordinator. She works closely with our other professional carers and with our clients.

Sophie says she has always wanted to 'make a difference'. When she was just 16 years old she started looking after her grandma. When this became too much for the family they arranged for professional homecare.

Now, 16 years later and with a wealth of skills and experience, Sophie has returned to homecare - ready to make a difference yet again.
